Boost Gauge

I was reading in another post about adding a boost gauge. Rather than to respond to an old thread I made a new one. Some responders used a scan gauge or torque pro via the obd2 port.
Others have said that data is not available via the obd2 port.
Which is it? Anyone have any experience with adding a boost gauge?

Ive added a boost guage, need to change the location of it as its kind of hard to see it where its at.

A vacuum/boost gauge is slightly better to see what's going on.

Yes, an old school mechanical gauge needs a small plastic tube (about 1/8") to the intake manifold (after the turbo).

I have a Vgate vLinker MC+ Bluetooth OBD2 Car Diagnostic Scan Tool for iPhone, Android, and Windows and Torque Lite on a old cell phone and it will display the boost pressure.

Thanks, So it sounds like it does work over obd2. What paramter to you use? I have an f150 ecoboost and could never find the parameter that worked.

I ran a JB4 that uses the obd2 port and there’s boost and about another 30 gauges you can monitor.

Boost doesn't work. There is no output from the OBD2 on the Maverick for boost.

if you say so. That screen shot was off the throttle. I wasn’t imagining the boost gauge working.

There is no way a Maverick doesn't have a MAP sensor.
