Just wanted to share. Ordered my Hybrid Maverick on 9/30/2021. I know Ford is not great at communication, I get that. But I get an email telling me that my build date is the week of 6/7/2022... on 6/10/2022 I get an email stating that my build date has been moved to the week of 6/27/2022. And last night 6/28/2022 I get a new email letting me know that my build date if moved again... this time to 7/25/2022. What the heck is going on over there!!! I wonder at what date my 2022 truck will become a 2023?

It is very common for build dates to jump around. For retail and stock units. Mine was pushed back 3 times, and then bumped up twice (to just a little later than it was originally).

People complain when they don't get enough updates from Ford. And other people complain when they get too many updates from Ford. Build dates change. It is common and normal. If a shipment of X part was delayed, they can't build certain vehicles, so those are moved.

If you have a build date, your truck will be a 2022. They are building 22s through most of October.

And to set your expectations, be ready to have your ship date move around also. I didn’t get my build date move around, but my original delivery date was missed and the following week I got an email update from ford on a new delivery eta. So yeah, don’t put too much stock on the dates you’re given, you’ll only set yourself up for disappointment.

I'm in the same boat, as my sig shows... back into "In Production" today, so my roller coaster begins the uphill climb once again.

Ordered 9/22/21 Hybrid Lariat Lux

Scheduled: 5/30, moved to 6/6, 6/27, 7/5

I am now listed as in production for the second time even though 7/5 hasn't come.

I ordered 5 days earlier than you and I’ve had the same scheduling times as you. Yep now 7/25 for me too.

At least you're getting emails. The only way I find out my build date has changed is by calling or chatting with Ford. Started out as a 27 Jun, now a 15 Aug. Scuttlebut from Tim Bartz is if you have a 22 VIN, you're getting a 22 (even if they have to delay the changeover).

I ordered hybrid xlt Oct. 23 got vin and build week of 6/20 then 6/27 then went back to in processing with possible 8/1 week. Today I got email of 7/4. I'm hoping getting the email just days from the actual start week may be a good sign.

I follow a Toyota Sienna group and their build dates are being pushed out too.
Toyota doesnt accept custom orders. A dealer can request options/models but it has no ties to a customer. So there builds is not getting pushed cause they dont have one.
