I called again and the woman I spoke to was actually going to give me a certificate, but she said the site has been down for a couple days and is glitchy. She said to wait because it may glitch and falsely accept it and it would look like I was given one already even though I haven't. I'll try again next week and try and hopefully get it before the 20% ends.
Was this a certificate for Ford Merchandise or Accessories like mud flaps, mats etc? I have received two for merchandise but none for accessories.

The ONLY hybrids here that may have gotten theirs in three months is possibly a September order getting in in December, and even then it was probably one person. They didn't even start releasing them until December and that person would've gotten lucky. I have seen some in 4 or 5 months, but those are also few and far between. Again, those were all older orders. The vast majority have waited 7-8 months and some much longer. I have two orders for late October and neither has a build date yet, so that means at minimum I will be 11-12 months.
I was under the impression orders for the Mav didn't start until July last year? Am I wrong here? If not how could anyone be over a year wait? Again I thought it was July 2021 orders opened up? I cant say for sure what the average time frame is just reading threads here and on face book is were I got my impression from,. Keep in mind most Mav owners are not even online at all on these forums.

Good for you. When I call all I get is that it's in process, no freebies or other info. That would be nice though. Maybe when I call next time I have to be more aggressive. Ordered Dec 26th.

I usually use Ford Chat to inquire about my two truck orders. I've given them the order number and dealer number and they tell me that my order, both of them, are still in "order processing". Takes a while to get a rep and not very forthcoming with info - but they answered my specific question albeit with the answer I didn't want!

Today I couldn't get Ford Chat to open so I called Ford. Pretty much a night and day difference in the conversation and information shared. For one, they picked up quickly. Even though both my orders are still in "order processing" (sigh...), the rep volunteered more info about both my orders. She gave me the exact date my order was received in the system and that both were accepted at the factory with a completed ROVP.

She also gave me insight into some of the process that I wanted to share with you MTC ladies and gents. Some of you may know this but others, like me, probably don't.

She could "see" that components were being added to each of my orders. She made sure I understood that at the dealership we see a "package" (Lux, FX4, etc.) but that each package had a number of components (makes sense) that are allocated to/reserved for the order over time. She said that her view did not distinguish which package each component was a part of. She did not provide a component count but she did say that my first order, which I told her had a couple of constrained items (Lux, CP360) in addition to FX4 also had more components allocated than my other order with just the FX4 package (which also makes sense). That did not mean my Lux would be built first but only that more components were allocated. She did say that everything was moving forward as expected with no show stoppers other than constraints and recommended I check back with the dealer every couple of weeks to check on order progress.

That's the most information I've received about my order! Chat isn't bad but those peeps are trying to churn thru the queue, quickly. The phone call is definitely a better option which I will use in the future.

More information is always better and takes some of the sting out of the wait.

Icing on the cake - I also got a $100 e-gift certificate to use on accessories!
XLT/LUX with FX4 - Better dash cluster screen and handing with the better shocks- Its an awesome rig - Hopefully you will get a VIN soon and then print that window sticker !

No idea. I haven't gotten any certificates yet, so I'd take either one.

Oh in that case some can indeed be over 1 year. that would suck waiting MORE than a year. I hope i don't end up in that group. I will play it safe with options and NOT get Lux or 360. hopefully that will keep me in the 8 month time frame.

I placed my order in June 21st, and I was a week or two behind the first orders. I believe they opened around the 8th of June 2021

It my case, it was also only for the merchandise store, NOT the vehicle accessories. which kind of bummed me out. Basically Ford just paid us to advertise for them.... :rolleyes:

Still, it's a nice gesture, and better than nothing. But at their inflated prices, $100 doesn't get you much. :(

Wow LONG wait. Glad your getting it finally. I wonder had it had no Lux package would you have gotten it sooner. Guess will never know.
