Randomly received a Ford FITS kit in the mail

There was a box on the porch yesterday and it was a Ford Fits kit for the maverick I have on order. Mine is an EB so I'm not sure why I received it as I didn't order it but I'll sure take it.

When did you order? They may be sending them to long term orders, regardless of trim. Don’t know just conjecture on my part.

I received the FIT kit as well. It was actually better than expected and is somewhat useful in the rear of the console and/or the cubby under the seat. Of course, I would rather have received my front hood wind deflector OR my rear bed LED lights I ordered 10 MONTHS AGO with the car. Note to self; "don't ever order Dealer installed options, ever again..."

So much for that theory. I‘m an August 2021 order that hit production.

I asked my dealer about the free fits kit when I picked mine up this weekend. They had no idea what a fits kit was. Just let it go. Would be stoked if it showed up in the mail though.

Ordered mine in July , sometime around December I got an email from Ford saying they would send free fits kit for the long wait. Got my truck last week, no fit kit yet.

Overall, I have found the provided Fit kit to be fairly worthless

My dealer charged for options I didn’t order, then didn’t bother to install them. Just a way to circumvent Ford‘s ADM restrictions. A ‘back door” ADM. B*stards!

I was told my FITS kit was back ordered. Sales Associate told me to keep calling their parts department for it. Not a big loss.
