I've owned two 70's Mavericks, the last one was a Grabber and I traded it strait up for a Firebird with the T-tops. I still kick myself for that decision!

My wife’s first car was a 4-door Maverick (blue). Had no power steering. Totaled by a distracted driver.

Had a 72 new (A Plan) Grabber, gold with orange(?) stripes, black vinyl interior, 3 speed on the floor, with a 200 SIx. My first new car. Styling --- !

Mine, well my second one, had the 8 Cylinder 302. Wow was that fun to drive! Grabber Green with white stripes. I drove it down to Texas and we swapped titles at a Taco Cabana parking lot, lol. Stupid, stupid, stupid! But I always wanted a Firebird with the T-Tops! I quickly grew to regret that decision! The guy I traded with put a 351 in it. It didn't need a bigger engine than that 302. About a year later they started becoming 'collectible'.
