The Auto-Stop Eliminator has worked great for me so far. Well worth the money. This device allows you to not have to think about this feature unless you need it and then just push the button and it works as designed, but only as needed.

I've heard talk that plugging in a pass- thru trailer light tester into the trailer plug will get the job done. I think there's also a plug- in chip that'll do it as well.

Second the Auto-Stop Eliminator. I installed mine the day after I got my truck in less than 5 min. I think $100 is a bit steep for what it is, but the stop-start drives me crazy so it was worth it.
