Online inventory is controlled by ford just start calling dealership get your name on there list for when people back out of there order that's what I did got my maverick the next day for sticker price

No it is not. The dealer has the easy ability to pull customer orders off their website. A month or I posted on this forum a challenge - anyone that can point me to a hybrid for sale for MSRP I would give 2000.00 - how many folks found one ? Zero.

Also how I got mine. It took about a week and I paid $3K over sticker. A dealer I was planning to order through had $2,500 of b.s. they were planning to tack on, too.

Brother have the salesman call me telling me he's got it and will sell it to me at MSRP and I'll send you the two grand as soon as I get the buyer's order signed. It does have to be a hybrid though.

I consider myself lucky, but I found mine that was listed online. Customer who ordered got tired of waiting and backed out. I put a $500 deposit down and paid MSRP with no hassles or markups. Eco XL.

Lol well Sheehy DOES have an XL Echo that they are asking 10K over MSRP - I'm told no hybrids are available even tho they have a few on their website - uhhhhh just like I described in my video.

If I knew it was going to be this long for a build I'd probably pay 2k over msrp for a random color/optioned xl or xlt

I don't mind the markup on price. Sell it for what the market will bear.

What truly irritates me are the 'non-refundable' deposits that dealers are asking for to reserve vehicles that haven't even made it to the dealer lot.

Hyundai dealers were doing this same crap with the Santa Cruz. No cars in but the say they can get them 'in about a month' with a non-refundable deposit and 5k markup over MSRP.

I just got a call this morning from a dealership right outside of Dallas. They recently put up 3 hybrids for sale which I called about but as you showed in your video they did not have any for sale. The salesman that called me back was very nice and apologetic saying he hated what they were doing because of all the calls they get for trucks they do not have and are not available for sale. I have no issues with what they want to charge but they need to quit advertising trucks they do not and are not going to have available for customers.
