I got that type of note from a dealer in Florida.
I guess they are trying to just deal with those who might buy again from them or will have service done there.
Makes sense for the long term.

That link is ridiculous. Who in their right mind would pay $50,000 for a Maverick? I know some idiot out there will buy it which is why all these dealers practice this s***. And who knows what trim it is? If it's for an XLT then that's absurd! Even for a Lariat that's too much.

You are so right but people keep paying it as fast as they can find one. It’s just not worth it to me. At the end of the day it’s just a little truck. I can wait till prices ( and production) return to normal which will happen one day. Plus, there will be some great competition coming soon I’m sure.

If you structure the car payment right most people don't care. They only know they are paying each month. 20 year car payment which will be coming soon enough to sell excess inventory to people assuming no interest is about ~$209 a month. Next up insurance fraud to get out of the 20 year car payment when it starts having serious repair problems.
