kind of a long story. In short, I scheduled the appt almost 3 weeks in advance and provided plenty of info on the fact it was a recall appt and that parts were needed. They “confirmed” they had everything. Then they kept the truck for 2 days and did not do a single thing beyond plugging the VIN into the computer and seeing they needed to order the fuel tank clamp I already told them they needed 3 weeks ago and they said they had. Now I have to go back 1-2 more times at least to get it taken care of. Then they acted like they did me a massive favor giving me a loaner when it specifically says they’re obligated to in the recall notice. Just a general lack of planning or detail and terrible attitudes about it.
I ordered my Maverick XL Hybrid on 7/24/2021. It arrived at dealer last night, and I just picked it up this afternoon. I purchased it from Lithia Ford in Boise. They were great and honored the MSRP that we agreed on. They even took $500 off for military appreciation. The whole buying process was excellent. I like the color and enjoyed the ride home. I am looking at doing the following upgrades in the near future, spray in bed liner, cruise control, and tailgate damper kit.
The Cactus Gray Hybrid is probably mine. It arrived mid-March when I was on a cruise. I picked it up in early April. Lithia honored X-plan along with the military retiree appreciation discount.
