Those 42,000 points (approx $210) equate to two years of routine servicing - for free. Use them!
What is "routine servicing"? I feel like $210 is nothing when it comes to taking your car to a dealership to get serviced.

The basic 7500 mile servicing like oil changes. It's based on average miles per year. You would expect two oil changes a year so the first two years are basically free. That depends on dealer charges of course.

Something is better than nothing.

At my local Ford "the works" synthetic blend oil change and fluid, belts, brakes check is 49.95. Those points cover two years of this service.

I just checked my FordPass app, and I have an additional 20,000 point bonus! Vehicle purchase=40,000, and Ford Maverick Bonus=20,000, Anyone else have this? This is a Canadian account, so maybe it's area specific?
Same here. Hade 40,000 and received a 20,000 bonus. I am also in Canada.

Forget the FITS package that was supposed to come with the car...I'll take my 60,000 instead!

So if you can put $6000 on the Ford Rewards Credit card you should get:
40,000 points for Maverick purchase
30,000 points for the $6k on the Ford Credit card at
  • 5% Back in Points on Ford Dealership Purchases
20,000 for spending $6k in a year on the Ford Credit Card
(You’ll earn a $200 Annual Statement Credit when you spend $6,000)

90,000 total Correct?

It will be 2 months in another week ford had a glitch that for some reason dealer has to fix to get them refunded back to the account and that is like pulling teeth. Fordpass CS wont escalate missing points until after the 30 days so you have to wait at least that long.
If it takes 2 months, you can kiss the purchase points goodbye.
Per the FordPASS phone representative, you MUST activate the 'CONNECT' feature using a smart phone within 60 days of purchase, otherwise, NO POINTS!
I did not know anything about the time limit, I was called by the dealer representative to get my FordPASS ID information, and nothing was said. I asked how long until they posted, and he said it could take some time.
I finally got the APK to load, but it failed install. I updated to the latest android, and it installed and worked, so I activated. OOPS. Too late. Too bad.
Apparently, 2 months being a time frame will leave you high and dry.
I even emailed in response to a FordPASS email, asking when my points would appear, and to date(then 2/26, today 3/10) I got no response from FordPASS at all.
Do NOT rely on someone telling you to activate, and do NOT rely on someone posting the points within their time limit, or you may be left out in the cold with zero purchase points.
I am not a happy camper. I need a contact name at Ford to voice my complaint and make this right.
Anyone?

tom

ADDED: Remember it is PURCHASE date, not the day you can drive off the lot. In my case, it was more than a week after the purchase date before I was allowed access, thus cutting more time from the specified activation period. You must have physical access to the vehicle to have the activation work, not just the VIN and sales code.

Too bad the dealer did not inform me, and the reps at FordPASS did not mention when I was asking about purchase points...

30,000 points for the $6k on the Ford Credit card at
  • 5% Back in Points on Ford Dealership Purchases
Don't know how many dealerships would run the full $6k; most only like $2-3k on credit cards. Although some have received 10% points back using it for such. They kind of say that on the rewards website but it's broken down weird: 5% back in points on on Ford Dealership Purchases plus 5% back with FordPass Rewards. Versus straight up saying 10% back on Service. Or does service give 15%? 🤷‍♀️

Applied for a Ford Visa card through Ford and is suppose to link to Ford Pass for credits. My hope is the charging now will give me time to figure things out and build some Ford Pass credits as will not have a Vin till summertime. Applied a week ago Monday and this Monday received an email that it was approved and should arrive in the mail in 7-10 business days. Time will tell and to figure out how to link a checking account to Ford Credit Card for payments.

40,000 for purchasing the Maverick

My dealer said they'd allow $5k on the card, but I decided not to get one at all. I have other Cards already with excellent rewards like 5% back on gas, and the Ford one is Points that can only be redeemed for service/parts. Not worth it for me as I rarely visit the dealer and do my own oil changes for much cheaper.

If you end up getting extended warranty, and purchase it at Flood, you can use points to lower the cost.

FYI you can apply for the ford pass credit card at the dealership when you're picking up/actually buying your maverick. I did it and they were able to put my down payment ($3,000) on it and the card came in the mail after a few days and I was able to set up my account then. The dealership you're getting it from probably has a default/standard page on the dealerships website about it in case your salesman hasn't heard about it or whatever.
