What phone shoud I buy.

I need to replace my Android Moto Z2-Play phone with something a little updated (more storage and without cracks in the screen). I have ordered a Hybrid Lariat Lux. I am looking for recommendations on what phone to purchase to best link with the electronics in the Mav. Does it make a difference whether I get an I-phone or an Android. I am currently using Synk3/Sirius in my 2013 Fusion and have no experience with Apple Play. Addicted to GoogleMap. I occasionally still use an old Ipod to listen to my old rock tunes and I'm not sure whether I will able to use it in the Mav.

I'd appreciate input from anyone who can give me suggestions about what type of phone to buy.

Small phone Apple 13 mini or Pixel 6 or 6 pro for android. Neither have wireless Carplay/Android Auto. Just my opinion. If I needed a new phone I would switch from android to Iphone 13 mini.

Go with a pixel 6 and keep the extra $300+.

If your wife has an iPhone 11, buy an iPhone 13. She can teach you how to use it.

There are after market dongles that can give you wireless.

Ford does not support Wireless Carplay / Wireless Android Auto on any of the Maverick Models. There are 3rd party adapters that may work make that available, personally plugging in the phone isn't a hassle for me, Wireless sounds great but your streaming the data to the head unit through WiFi then so your probably going to have to charge the phone at some point anyway

If you like Android, I recommend Google pixel. Cleanest and most updated Android. I have a 3a XL. Camera is good enough, IMO. It just works.
