Hello from Las Vegas!

Hi All,
Just joined this forum to keep an eye out for info of when Ford will resume taking orders for the Maverick. I currently have a 2021 Area 51 Bronco Sport Badlands with a little over 1000 miles on it that I want to sell to get a Maverick Lariat 2.0 ecoboost FWD. The Maverick will suit my needs better. Fingers crossed they resume taking orders not to far out in the future.

From Vegas too. I lucked out and got a XLT from friendly ford when it arrived on the lot. No complaints with it so far other than the speaker. Ill eventually go around to changing them out. Too scared to do it now though haha

Very cool!!! The basic speakers that Ford is using are pretty weak..I bought some Power Bass brand speakers for my Bronco Sport and they sound so much better and have the OEM connector already on them. I just looked around town here for an audio installer and was able to find someone to install them for around $140.

really? Where at? I went to audio express and they quoted me over 1000 for the two front speakers and bass. Way too much.

I only changed out my 4 door speakers. No sub. I bought the PowerBass speakers online and Stereo FX installed them.....Total cost for 4x 6.5" speakers and install was $340...not to bad and sounds a lot better...I do wish I had a sub but was out of my budget at the time. Since I plan to sell or trade in my Bronco sport, I'm cool with the sound now.

thx man ill check them out. I’ll definitely go this tuesday lol. I got xlt lux fwd. overall good. Only thing I recommend is if you can get the protective film on the front of vehicle. I work at 6 am and with all this construction going on all over town i have a few rock chips in the front. I used the paint pen on a couple spots now due to that. I the the I15 in the morning and i avoid driving behing large trucks but i keep finding new chips all the time im over it, aslong as it runs as great as it does for awhile ill be happy. I saw a truck at work that the guy put bedliner all over the truck and it actually looked good. Might go that route later on if the paint gets too messed up

Great to see other Mav owners in Las Vegas. Ordered mine in Aug, got it early Nov at Gaudin Ford. Pretty easy overall.

I first thought about getting an EB FWD, but I was concerned about torque steer with the turbo motor. My first AWD vehicle. I'm glad I added it.

Very Cool that you got yours pretty quick. Who was your contact/salesperson at Gaudin?
I have a contact at Ford Country, Team Ford and Friendly Ford now and they all have the build I want and my info so if anyone cancels their order I can snag their spot. but I haven't called Gaudin Ford yet.

I didn't know they stopped taking orders last month for the 2.0L and if i did know they were going to do that I would have placed my deposit last month...I can wait though it's tough

lol, sorry....I don't trust myself not to break a tab/clip here and there...I just paid to have them installed. Took the installer a little under 2 hours for the 4 speakers.

Back in the day I would have been all over the speaker replacement myself, but at my age now I really just prefer to pay for stuff like that. But, I agree that the stock speakers kinda suck. Been thinking about getting them swapped out for something better.
