It took them a little while to fill my order too. I received mine a couple of weeks ago. Just waiting on my truck to be finished this week.
So, do you have a part number of the mirror? As you know, there's no listing for the Maverick for any parts and there wouldn't be an auto dimming mirror listed anyway. Since you had to specify another vehicle, can you share which vehicle you hacked out an auto dimming mirror? Thanks.

I ordered a mirror from Tasca Parts - I was not sure if they would cancel my order like Kia Parts but they did not. I did not order from Kia parts. Tasca has fulfilled my order for one of these Kia mirrors. Go get 'em!

I looked at the thread several weeks ago and watched in real time as orders got canceled, mine included. I thought your post was new. Thanks for the response and information.
Me too - I think I found Tasca when everyone was pounding Kia Parts. Tasca took my order and a few days later said that shipping would be in a week. And they came through.
There is another thread on a frameless mirror with battery Homelink (no wiring). That may be an option - it just does not have the auto dimming function.

KIA has my order in processing status for 10 days now. Did anyone who ordered thru KIA enter a KIA VIN? There parts link now has a banner that states enter VIN or no parts shipped.

I ordered from World Kia on 2/8 and received a shipping notice for USPS with tracking on 2/17. I did not supply a VIN.

Ordered via Tasca Parts on Feb 1 and mine was just delivered today.

Don't feel like messing with the wiring anymore after seeing the other battery powered one in the other thread, so I'm willing to sell it. DM me if you want it!

Edit: sold

As far as the mirror is concerned just unscrew it and slide up. Be sure you have a panel popper set to remove the black shroud.

I just quick tapped ground on the mirror to ground in the overhead lights (black to black) Then tapped the other two from the mirror to the yellow/green 12v from the overhead lights.

Is that yellow/green line always hot or ties to ignition?

Just find an Optima for sale and nab that VIN.

I finally received mine from Kia Parts. The mirror production date is listed as 7/2013 so no wonder these were on sale. I have a friend who is looking for one for his car and cannot find one now.

Now to get my hands on the Maverick.

Makes more sense than running wires down to the fuse panel 👍
Well I'd prefer if they were a keyed source versus always hot to prevent any constant battery drain.
