Actually this is good news, it will make wiring up a subwoofer much easier! I'll probably get a powered sub-woofer. I wanted one for my current vehicle, however getting wires to the battery was too much for me to deal with.

I drove my hybrid XL home today at about 1 p.m. Shipped Dec 1st and at the dealer in SoCal on Dec 10 and I was out of town. Had to pick it up today. Happy it's here and the wait is over. My son returns to Spokane tomorrow to pick up his XL 2.0 AWD. He just happened to take vacation with me at the same time both our trucks were being shipped.

That's my understanding as well. I don't have an immediate need and I am thinking that I'm going to wait to order the MY2023. I've built up a few at different times on the website and I've noticed that there are options and accessories being added all the time. I came across the security system that also features the basic remote start that was not on the site a few weeks ago. Waiting might give me an opportunity to tweak the build a bit without stepping up to XLT or Lariat.

I’m betting MY2024 will have a PHEV Maverick. So wait for that

This should be the post of the month. I laugh at people who keep changing their order to "beat the system" at the end they wont get the truck they want, and will bitch about it to others.

That's for sure. There will be those that decided to take the spray-in bed liner off their order, get their truck and before they can get the bed sprayed they get it messed all up!

Now that was a quick ship. Hope I'm that lucky. I had a 12/3 shipped date, but they gave me a 1/5/22 delivery est. Not even a Hybrid.

Talked to inventory manager, he confirmed my order is in, but that Ford has not processed it yet.
He said they just started processing and giving confirmation # and schedule for those that placed orders in June/July

Local dealers [Tampa, Brandon] may tell you they will order you a Maverick at MSRP and then add up to $1295 as a "dealer fee" when you go to complete the deal.

Teach them this is not acceptable and find another dealer who shoots straight and plays fair. Then rat out the first dealer. In this day of online reviews the weasels need to be shamed.
