My Hybrid Maverick DELIVERED!! [Updated] 🙌

These are from the Demo Hybrid Maverick at the State Fair of Texas last September/October

Seems pretty easy to take out when needed. I had a 2014 Escape as a work vehicle when I lived in South Dakota and it was a bitch to get the battery out because it was back near the firewall.

Sure, the hybrid has battery taking up one side but still has storage

Wow - that's great, thanks for all the photos! There is considerably more room left for storage than I thought. Everything I see continues to reaffirm my plan to order the Hybrid.

So if you don't have an order in now, you wont get one until the 2023 model Ford as stopped taking order for the Hybrid for the 2022 MY.

That's my understanding as well. I don't have an immediate need and I am thinking that I'm going to wait to order the MY2023. I've built up a few at different times on the website and I've noticed that there are options and accessories being added all the time. I came across the security system that also features the basic remote start that was not on the site a few weeks ago. Waiting might give me an opportunity to tweak the build a bit without stepping up to XLT or Lariat.

That battery is the 12V battery same as a conventional vehicle. I believe they don't have the room in the engine bay for the 12V battery so they place it there. The Prius does the same.

The high voltage battery for the hybrid is under the vehicle.

This was my impression too. I think the hybrid battery is flatter and wider / longer, underneath.

Just got a call from local dealer that my 12/15 delivery is in the lot…Lariat hybrid hot pepper with floor mats and tow hitch…confirmed no mark up…

Going to pick up after work…7/27 order date 11/23 build date. Shipped 12/2

UPDATE:

Got my hybrid home as an early Xmas present…it’s dark or I’d send more pics tonight…have to say the hot pepper looks amazing. Thanks to Ken Grody Ford for excellent service.

So now that I’ve had a hour or so to process this here’s some initial thoughts. First at delivery was the first time I’ve actually seen a maverick in person, I ordered sight unseen. It’s bigger than I thought it would be. I absolutely love the hot pepper red. It has crimson orange metallic color that you see in the photos. The inside is exactly as expected and very nice…the whole family is very impressed with the truck. I’ve only driven it home from the dealer so I’ll wait to comment.

Wow, any special equipment on yours ?

I ordered the hybrid lariat version, got it fully loaded with spray in bed liner, gun safe in center console, and the hard fold down bed cover. basically everything but the moon roof.

also it was ordered thru the Desoto Ford in Cedar hill, TX.

I call them once a month to find status, and dont have a lot of faith in them since it take almost a week to get someone to give me an answer on status. May have to get it serviced elsewhere when I do get if they cant bother to return a phone call with a status.

I ordered the Hybrid Lariat version with all the options except moon roof. placed my $500 deposit

I tried thru their website in august, but never got any response, just kept saying a rep would contact me and never did, so went in person.

If you did not receive an email from Ford confirming your order I’d follow up…I would be concerned you don’t have a verified order without the confirmation email from Ford.

Talked to inventory manager, he confirmed my order is in, but that Ford has not processed it yet.
He said they just started processing and giving confirmation # and schedule for those that placed orders in June/July

That does not sound Correct to me. From all I’ve seen on this forum when Ford has the proper documents you get an email within minutes. I’d call Ford customer service to be sure they have your order.
