Hybrid June Order, Finally got a VIN!!

Decided to contact FordMoCo on the hotline, looks like my Hybrid has a VIN (Issued October Sometime). I've contacted them before multiple times (I didn't get an order confirmation email) and they've only stated it was in "Order Processing" but now there's a VIN!!

Looking at the tracker it's still on Order Confirmed 6/28, Does receiving a VIN Indicate I'm going to be Scheduled for build soon?

Edit:Also I can't seem to get a window sticker, I've been trying all day

My Options are

• Hybrid Engine
• Cactus Gray
• Inverter Addon
• Spray In-Liner
• All weather Floor mats

I hope they can still schedule mine in with the cutoff date for Hybrid Engine

It likely means you are scheduled. I didn't get a ViN until scheduled. Contact your dealer and ask them to check the system for a Production Schedule date.

Since you have a VIN, you're scheduled or will be very soon. Your dealer can get your actual scheduled build date (mine did without me asking). Yours will probably be built sometime in December and will ship right out. My hybrid was built a few weeks ago and is waiting for the ok to buy to be issued by Ford, reportedly coming in early December.

The tracker itself and obtaining window stickers from the tracker have been a little shall we say flakey for a while now. Try again in a day or two.

Do not worry about the cutoff for hybrids....everyone with an order for a hybrid will get a hybrid. The cutoff is for orders. You already have an order, and beyond that you have a VIN. You'll get your Hybrid Maverick.

But you need a VIN along with your order number to track a vehicle. Your VIN is issued close to the time you get scheduled for production. Ford sends an email with the VIN along with the week you're scheduled for.

You can call Ford at (800) 334-4375 but you will not be able to expedite the VIN number creation process, they will only provide you with the current status of your order. You ordered less than a month ago....lots of orders ahead of you still waiting to be scheduled.

The cold hard truth is ordering a Maverick in 2021 requires a lot of patience.

I’d probably drop the spray in liner, unless you don’t mind waiting awhile..

see the commodity restraints, spray in liner is one of them and I’ve waited for quite sometime as well as other folks.

I ordered Oct 13.

I do not expect to see vehicle till after March regardless of what options it has.

If you are related to Ford family getting your vehicle / vin moved up is a possibility.

You won’t be able to see the window sticker until you’re in production. Some have reported it was available as early as the week before their production date.

you should only get a VIN when your truck is scheduled. So I don’t know

I ordered on 6/22/2021 from Phil Long Ford of Denver. On this site, a few hybrids have gone to small dealers in Grand Junction and Ft. Collins. The obvious questions: 1) Ford doesn't like Colorado or Phil Long or skiing; 2) Ford thinks we all live in Aspen or Vail and can be jacked up on price; 3) freight trains don't travel up from Mexico to Denver these days...

I contacted the Phil Long GM three days ago. He's on vacation, or out of the office, or... fill in the blank. As GM's go, most people rate this guy ok. Good for you! I ordered an XLT hybrid on Sep. 29. I hope to get it by this spring.

Actually received a text from the GM today. Has very polished negotiation and deescalation skills. That said, I'm going to have my winter tires put on my 2013 Altima next week, just in case I have drive on ice or in some snow. Stay tuned. I got my Vin number along with email confirmation scheduled for production from Ford you should have gotten The same
