Had my bed sprayed with Bullet liner yesterday. Overall pretty happy, except of few areas which could have been better, but those are areas which probably only I see. They sprayed all the way to under the rear glass and all the edges of the tailgate. Those areas are all not covered with the factory liners. Will post more pictures shortly.

Update: Now I had a bit more time, I could inspect the job more thoroughly. While the main job was done pretty decently, some of the details are not good. I mean the guy did the entire job in 1.5 hours...

I am adding few more pictures, with the good, bad and the ugly.

The good:
The main job was done pretty well. I am not an expert in spray in liners but when you are not OCD like me, I think it looks for the most part even and well covered. He covered the edges and sprayed very nicely under the rear glass. Neither the edges nor under the glass is done with the factory liner.

The Bad:
Some of the gaps are not filled correctly. They filled those gaps on one side completely but on the other side randomly (see pictures below over the cubbies or back half of the tailgate). Again call me OCD, but I don't think it is that difficult to do both sides equal, no matter if you want to completely fill the gaps or leave the gaps completely open.

The ugly:
I think they messed these sections on both sides completely up. Might be not a big deal for most people, but I think they should have done a better job and covered it properly. The guy told me he usually takes off the tailgate but it was not possible for the maverick because the cables connect way too deep into the body.

My overall tip for everyone: Inspect the areas I have shown in the pictures. I think it really doesn't matter much which brand you go with, you should go to someone who is doing a lot and has lots of positive ratings. It is like taking your car to the body shop. If they do a crappy job, it won't help when you have chose the best paint in the world. Retrospectively I think I should have gone with Line X, because simply they are bigger, do more volume and from what I can read in the reviews, the shops in my area do really good job. I liked the guys who ran this shop but again I was hopping they would do a better job.

Now for the experts (@JUrban @Tman @srender517 and others) here, what do you think about the job? Shall I go back and ask for corrections or are these common things with spray in bedliners and the job is decent enough to leave it as is?

Looks like a well done job to me. My liner experience: Did a DIY job on an Isuzu pickup I owned many, many years ago. Also had a 4.5-star rated Line-X shop do my Titan about 4 years ago and I'd say your Bullet shop beat them in quality.

Bottom line: Never hire me for a bed liner job.

Thank you for your feedback! I really liked the guy and I think he was really good at what he does. Just wished he would have taken few more minutes to take care of some of the fine details. Again, this is my first bedliner and I don't have any comparison, therefore it is good to hear from people like you who have had some experience from other shops.
