I just emailed my dealership to make changes to my second Maverick Hybrid on order. They told me that they received a bulletin saying any changes to existing Maverick orders (I don't know if this is for Hybrid orders only though) will make you lose your place and go into the material hold category. My dealership is very trustworthy and through them I got one of the first hybrids in the country, so I don't see any reason why this information would not be correct.

It’s correct and it’s both EB and Hybrid.

Thank you! Sorry, since I received my first truck, I am not all up to date anymore with the ordering things. The request was for my second truck which I ordered for my Dad.

Me too!
I wanted to just add a sunroof. And the dealer told me I would be risking possibly being moved to a 2023 MY. Which....I'm in the same boat, it's one of these leading very reputable dealers. But on the last weekly Ford video, they said, only changing major things like, Trim level (XL to XLT, etc) would risk losing your 'place in line'.
Either way, since I have been already waiting so long, I certainly didn't want to take the gamble. I just wish I knew if it was accurate???

My Ford Sales person told me they didn't specify which changes might be dangerous and advised just not change anything to be on the safe side.

Ford is getting tired of wishy washy people changing their mind every 5 minutes. Just know what you want when you order and that's the end of it

May dealer didn't warn me when I deleted the trifold Tonneau. But, I cheated and took a Maverick someone else ordered and refused. Orange in June or Velocity Blue today - guess what I chose.
