I have a 2025 hybrid. If I’m in low and going down a long hill I hear a squealing noise from the front left. Any ideas before I call Ford.

You'll need to post a recording of the noise.

Which is less effort: making a recording and posting it? Or just going to a dealer with a 50/50 chance they will tell you everything is fine?

L is for a simulated low. Nothing mechanical changes. A sound because of L is remarkably unlikely.
It could be engine runup or electric motor whine. Need a recording to determine.

The dealer would blame it on wind noise over the tonneau cover and say it's not Ford's problem.

Idea is to get used to it, and prepare for it being even louder if a steeper hill.

That's likely your engine braking happening because your High Voltage Battery is full and the generated electricity needs to be wasted.

At the same time the Grade Assist feature will attempt to keep your speed using Regen to the max available - so forget using Low mode unless towing - it adds nothing that won't be used anyway.
