Salesman found this one, I’ll believe it when I see it.

$41,000 before employee discount.

I’ll rightly have to pay the difference above my Lariat but that’s not much. About a thousand.
I’ll likely make her mine.
Make sure You post pictures of the New Maverick when You get it!!

It’s happening. The velocity blue Tremor was found 210 miles away.
Deal has been made.

After the employee discount and customer loyalty totaling $2,400 off.
I’m out the door for $40,300
For a 2026 loaded Tremor,
Bed cover, mud flaps and all.
That Gap/new replacement policy add on, remember ?
I’m driving it home at no out of pocket cost.

The suck,
It won’t be here for three more days.

This is the Way :’P

Congratulations on finding new truck.👍
If they would have had the same color red as your previous truck would you have gotten it?

Nope, Hot Pepper Red was great but I like change.
I really like the Velocity Blue.
Next truck will be a different color.

no airbags, surprising but lucky. Sucks to be the deer. damage looks very manageable. Glad you're well.:whew:

About the whistles, gotta make sure you mount them in good airflow that doesn't stall... or get cut off when shutters close or something.

I figure in hilly country you might do slightly better on the mpg with the tremor gearing, don't think you'll lose much if you're not doing 70mph+ a lot.

Glad you are ok. Damage doesn’t look too bad. Hopefully they don’t total it out.
I have deer all over by me. I think they are just plotting and conspiring to get me one day when I least expect it. They just watch me while on the parkway and take notes on time and speed.
I kinda believe you, due to ...

i) I had a really surreal deer experience years back. Out in the old whip, just fixed the brakes, so go find a back road for testing, nothing around, nail the pedal, screeeeeeee, nice even skidmarks, lovely, but just as I come to a stop, a deer jumps out ahead of me, 4 ft from the hood, stops and just turns and stares at me like he is pissed I braked.

ii) a guy I know a bit, hunter and outdoorsman in the PNW, swears that animals have a concept of "counting coup". i.e. doing a kinda dingdong dash on your "enemy" or something dangerous. So he thinks that some deer/car impacts are deer doing a double dare, but getting creamed instead... in which case, they are plotting to get you.

As for PA, I could just tell when it was deer season in rural western PA by the hoods the cars . . .

And was kind of surprised that hardly anyone was missing from my 11:00 class the first day of buck season. When I asked why they weren't out there, they replied that they'd already gotten theirs!

I could care less, once the incomplete parts order went north of $13,000 I lost interest.
almost 30 years ago, when my twins were born five weeks early, I kept the bills and the running total. I lost track somewhere in the mid $40k range. But I had the best insurance in my life as a grad student, with a $750 stop loss!

@Cherokee, I just added Erie "Auto Security" (replacement value) to my 2025 maverick insurance policy - $98.00 extra per year!
it usually costs less to get gap coverage on a credit union loan than from your insurance.

I found that Navy Federal doesn't offer gap, but has a similar nominal cost add-on to pay 125% instead of 100% when a vehicle totals.

[and then there's classic car insurance, where your agreed value covers the costs of finding a replacement, etc.!]
