Thanks! I didn’t get to take as many photos as I would have liked. Hard to capture both rows of Mavericks in one shot without aerial perspective. But we had a great showing.

Thanks, @710-oil-614 ! We can use some fresh hands on deck — both at the event and to spread the word to get people to preregister under Maverick Truck Club, so our numbers grow with Carlisle Ford and they’ll let us have more tent space.

I also see you have some nice T-birds set up behind yas! lol I had an '88 with the 3.8 V6 as my second car. It was a beater but still was fun

I also had an 88 T-Bird with the 3.8 V6 before I did the 460 Swap!!

I Loved that T-Bird but it was getting some crusty rust underneath it and I couldn't find another nice

83-88 T-Bird close to Me so I swapped the drivetrain into the Mustang I have now that came with a 4 cylinder!!

Haha very nice! I wish I had some of your talent. I could use a nice swap in my 91 Camaro. Love the 7.5 badge on the Mustang. You are definitely getting some smiles per gallon in that beast!

NOTE: The showfield registration "Flash Sale" will only last a week, I was told at the office on Sunday. This means register NOW and pay only $60. Full price is $75, so do it now, and save $15. You'll see the discount before you check out, so ignore the $75 price on the main registration page.

And remember to select MAVERICK TRUCK CLUB in the Club dropdown menu.

( @CyberMaverick was told the special discount would be available for two weeks ... but why take chances. Do it now. And remember, should your plans change, you have until mid-April to cancel and get a full refund. So if you want to come, register now, pay less, and put April 15 on your calendar as your "change of mind" date.)

Also note there is a great advantage in registering early, because you will get your credentials in the mail in advance of the show. Tremendous advantage to being able to put your windshield sticker on at home and drive right through the gate, rather than waiting in line to get your papers in order at the gate.

OTHER REASON WE URGE, URGE, URGE PRE-REGISTRATION: The more preregistrations we get under Maverick Truck Club, the better our chances are to get a free or highly discounted club tent on the showfield next year.

Can I ask anyone who registered for 2027 what their receipt looks like? I did a call-in on Saturday, and got emailed what appears to be a scan, that only has a customer ID and the amount paid. No class # or club affiliation.

This is mine. I chopped off the top of it with all my info but looks to have everything included in the receipt that I filled out. Extra $1.00 was a donation request for what seemed like a good cause to me.

I got a customer ID and order number at the top of my email, then all my information, name, address, means of payment and what I showed you was at the bottom of the email page

I registered in person at the office, and this is all I got. Very bare-bones — What you see is all that's on the paper, except for my name and mailing address.

(I registered for the Import show as well, since we go with our British car club to that. It's a much smaller show, and non-judged, so less expensive.)

You can call to confirm — and ask them if they can send a more detailed receipt, with club name — but as long as you have you customer ID number and transaction info (name of show and amount paid), you should be good.

Just keep that email in case you need it. It will be a long time (end of April, early May) before you get your official envelope in the mail, which will have your window sticker, map, and "goodie bag" letter, which you have to take to the Guest Services office on the grounds to get your Carlisle dash card, ballot, and a few other little things from sponsors.

A couple of weeks or so before pre-registration ("Gate n' Go") ends, I'll be getting a list of names registered under Maverick Truck Club ... and I'm sure your name will be on it.

AND the "class numbers" that are in the online drop-down list are just place holders.

A pop-up window says: NOTE: All classes will be assigned a different Class Number when the showfield is laid out. The new number will be on your windshield sticker and all signs at the event. For example, what you see below as “130” may change to “R101, B205, G310 or Y408.” The letter corresponds to the color of the showfield in which your class is located.
