I have a 2024 hybrid Lairet and twice now I got this symbol . Does anyone know what this means?

My manual said safety alert but for what I have no idea. Mine is not a hybrid so I'm not sure if these icons are different across different trim levels and such.

I don't use my phones search assistant too often, but your post meant time for me to whip it out!

I don't know if this is correct, but seems a good direction to look. The assistant has used Ford.ca as its reference.

Just to say it out loud, I don't know if it is, the search on my phone said it is!

I have been going through my 2025 manual, but mine is a 2025...but still looking, will have to go on-line.

How about this - On a Ford Maverick screen or climate control dial, "LO" simply means the lowest possible temperature setting. [1]

Okay, upon searching my manual icons I did find thos reference to the red triangle with the exclamation point inside!

It seems to denote a possible issue with the hybrid power system...

It says to check the Instrument Cluster Display...for more icons, I suppose...

Does your Maverick have built in navigation? If so it msy mean that map updates are available.

Since it's right next to the temperature setting (LOw) I would guess an issue with the HVAC system.

Is it actually blowing cold air? If you have it connected to the app, any service alerts on there?

Do you have a code reader to see what faults codes come up?

That could possibly help you out as well, in figuring this out...

Great advice. My 2025 manual shows the triangle with exclamation point a as “Safety Alert”.
Does not explain the “LO” though.

A triangle with a “lightning bolt” indicates an electrical issue…

On my 2025, if I set the climate temp to the lowest possible setting it does display "LO". On my screen it is at the bottom, not the top like yours so it could be a difference between model years. It is hard for me to believe that you have a serious problem and the only place you see a warning is in the infotainment screen. Is there any other indication anywhere?

Yep - maybe the “LO” is unrelated to the safety alert triangle.

I think a look the instrument cluster would have a more to tell us...that said, I think I would go eith a call to the dealer and then a tow for the Maverick to the dealer in case it is a problem in the Hybrid system...after trying to read the codes of course.

The truck should still be under warranty as it is a 2024...the OP knows the mileage of course.
