Our 2023 Hybrid seem to go into sleep mode everytime we park it. Still under 3 year, 36000 mile coverage but Fird suggested I connect a charger or go for a long drive. Drove it from eastern Connecticut to central NY State, still doing it.
Is this a sign of a failing 12 volt battery ?

Yes, your battery is probably sulfating. Get a free battery before your three year warranty expires. Extended warranties don't cover it after the 3 years. A lot of people have this problem. Mines a 23 too, and it goes into sleep mode daily. I've had the battery replaced once. You might want to get a jump starter pack and keep it in your truck. I've never had to use mine, but it will keep you from being stranded if the battery fails. I love these trucks other than that issue. Good luck and safe travels.

My 2023 Maverick hybrid XLT with 43k miles also goes into deep sleep at least once daily, even after longer highway driving for some distance. Months ago, I turned off most of the background monitoring functions in an effort to decrease the battery drain, but it didn't seem to help.

That is a sign for sure. I'm an incredibly handsome man, so instead of a jump box, I just carry a cheap set of jumper cables instead. And you'll definitely want to get the old gal on the charger.

Cuz when Ford says 'drive it longer', they mean the Pan-American Highway kind of longer.

The Deep Sleep Mode notice you are getting in Ford app could be for 3 reasons.
14 days unstarted not it.
Below 9.5V likely not it.
SOC% below 40% (50% if you missed a BCM update) - most likely. (around 11.5 or 11.8 V, though not exact correlation)

Battery Saver Mode with lights off sooner and sooner on entry/exit would happen at 12.1V or below resting voltage - you should have been seeing that for some time.

So the fact you can go for a long drive, and it drops below 40/50% that fast - yeah, battery is going fast now. Not that it was charging that high anyway on long trip, but still.

Sadly they have to test it at 39% for warranty replacement - unless service writer a nice guy.
If not - they may also want to hold it overnight. Charge it up, wait overnight, test the next day for load and holding the charge.
That's why I'm thinking you may have a BCM update to get, you are at 50%, so still a ways to go.

Get your jumper pack, and charged for the eventual day.
Maybe you can make that day happen more timely - with some radio on doors open just using Accessory mode. System will turn it off itself, perhaps quickly.

Even charging at home isn't going to repair a degraded battery enough - and you want that warranty replacement.
They use AGM now - which will help fo the next few years.

Question - do you tow, or drive during dark often?
