Our 2023 Hybrid seem to go into sleep mode everytime we park it. Still under 3 year, 36000 mile coverage but Fird suggested I connect a charger or go for a long drive. Drove it from eastern Connecticut to central NY State, still doing it.
Is this a sign of a failing 12 volt battery ?
Came up with a idea, and implemented it, to brace my BluOx baseplate. Although I have a longer arm towbar, and not had an issues with it, I figured it's cheap insurance.
I ordered a 1" X 2" X 4 ft, 1/8 thick box beam and 2 - 4" X 4" X 1/4 " thick steel plates. Drilled 1-1/2" holes in the...
It's a air pressure regulator that goes on the line after the control box and the pedal cylinder. I bought mine from Amazon and it came with push fit fittings, so an easy install.
At least Demco has recognized the issue. Back last summer, they told me it was my fault due to a bad install. They had me send pictures, do all sorts of tests and adjustments for them, until it was closing in on my travel date.
The shame is that it still listed to work on Mavericks, without...
I installed the Demco Stay in Play system and had lockup issues. Not only was it skidding all 4 tires but it was stopping the RV. That would set their fake inertia control switch to stay on.The 60 psi coming from the pump was just to much to control.
I bought a simple adjustabe air pressure...
I just installed extra sockets and bulbs in my Maverick taillights and did away with the diodes completely.
Time will tell if the Neutral Tow issue comes up again.
I now have new snug fitting adaptors that should take most of the movement out of the connection. I'm off to Ohio, from NY on Sunday, hope it don't wobble anymore.
I started out last fall with a brand new tow bar setup.
After our 6 month trip from NY to FL then TX and back home in NY, over 3500 miles, every wear point is showing wear.
The pins, the adaptors, the holes the adaptors plug into and tow bar forks the pins go thru are all made of common steel...
I towed my 2023 Maverick Hybrid over 5000 miles in the last year with no wobble .
Last week, the first time towing since the 3 recalls, I was making a close right turn in a construction zone with uneven pavement, and it started to wobble. I stopped and then continued on to my destination without...
Demco makes a wireless brake light monitor. It's called Coach Link.
I placed my transmitter up in behind the 3rd brake light and powered it from it. The reciever plugs into a USB port for power up on the dash.. Works great.
I also installed a wireless battery monitor under the hood of the...
