The order is in but this is really weird.

Not sure about you but I didn’t give ford any money to order mine

Talk to your dealer. You should have received an order confirmation email from Ford.

And keep in mind, if you ordered a vehicle from other manufacturers, they wouldn’t be giving you updates like Ford is doing with Maverick owners.
You would just be at the mercy of whatever your dealer salesperson tells you.

I technically haven't given them any money yet (hopefully you haven't either), but if I did, I would want updates weekly as to why my money is tied up. But since I haven't, I don't need weekly updates saying, "Hey, commodities are still restrained, we'll schedule you when all parts are available and we work through the tens of thousands of orders we have before you..." Instead, you can get just as much or even more information here than you would from Ford or your dealer. Each week people post build week updates and I think commodity restraints come out monthly.

THIS........ Why does every post like this act like they've given ford the full purchase price. At best the DEALER has a deposit. Side note, given all the complaints from people waiting for trucks, the threads on actual issues when trucks arrive should be interesting.

September, in the grand scheme of things, isn't that early. Ford is just now scheduling builds from June and July and the first two weeks of August. It also depends on what you ordered and what options with it. Just sit back and relax like everyone else, you'll get your notices.

I ordered my hybrid late June.. Never heard anything till late Sept saying production week of Oct 11. Stayed in production till Dec 14 saying it was built My dealer says it stays there till ready to ship and was built on Oct 13. That is what happen. This morning around 1 am got e mail my truck has been shipped. ETA will be coming. So yeah not much current info till now but it was for me what my dealer said.

Ordered mine Sept. 18. Originally thought by Thanksgiving. Now hoping for Early April! no word yet. <Sigh> But my dealer had one come in they let me sit in...yes, I think it'll be worth the wait.
