If I want a little different sound I would go with that Borla Muffler or the MagnaFlow although the Borla is cheaper at Summit Racing that's 30 minutes from My House.Although maybe it would be to loud compared to the stock Muffler. Is Your Maverick Tremor a 2024?
Yeap! 2024 Lariat Tremor
Sounds good enough to me
No drone, no disturbing the neighbors

I finally got the chance to contact Thermal again to check on swapping for the newly designed tailpipe section. I had previously spoken with Victor and he was supposed to send me an email with the steps I needed to take. Turns out Victor is no longer at Thermal, so my request must have fallen through the cracks. This time I spoke to Bryan and he got me fixed up right away :) They have an item on the website now for 2025 EcoBoost upgrade. I got the new tailpipe section a few days ago and had a chance today to swap it out. I did notice that the new resonator barely touched the spare tire. I lowered the tire a little, shifted it some to the rear and passenger side, and then tightened it back up against the underside of the bed. That left a small gap, but I still might look into some type of heat shield.

But, I'm happy to say that the in cabin resonance I was getting between 1650 and 1950 rpm is gone!! Outside the sound seems unchanged. Inside the truck you still hear the deeper tone, but the peaky resonant frequencies are smoothed out and it's very consistent across the rpm range. I will say now that this cat-back is exactly what I was looking for, a deeper tone that's not overbearing with the increased air flow potential.

If you're looking for exhaust that's loud both inside and outside of the truck, this kit is probably not for you. But if you want a nice, deeper sound without the peaky "drone" that will annoy your passengers (lol), I'd say this is the ticket.

I did a ton of internet research, video watching with headsets ond what not and decided the Thermal R&D full catback w/downturn was what sounded the best to me. At the first start up after the install I knew instantly it wasn't for me. Took a couple runs up and down the road and that confirmed I didn't like it. I had lots of drone, it was too loud for me personally and my neighbors didn't appreciate my early morning starts either.

I ordered a resonator to cut down on the drone and that helped both the start-up and harsh on throttle sounds but the overall 90's honda civic sound just wasn't for me so I had rear most chamber removed and the stock muffler put back on and it's fine now.

My current set-up is:
Fast maverick catted downpipe
resonator
Thermal R&D 3" midpipe
stock muffler

I'll try and get some pics of what my set-up looks like this weekend. If anyone is interested in the parts I have left over, reach out and we can make a deal. I'm not looking to make any of my money back but shipping won't be cheap since I'm stationed overseas and have to use USPS. I figure if someone likes the sound, you might as well use this one as I will not be and hate to throw good parts away.

I wish Nameless Performance made an exhaust for the Maverick.

I will say, on cold startup it’s pretty loud lol. But once the idle settles down it’s really quiet (At least mine is with the two resonators). I need to stand behind it and let someone drive down the road to hear that perspective.
