I had a build date week of December 6th. Ford's order tracker says nothing. Still the same you are scheduled for production page and no window sticker.

I called my salesman and he last week it was in "factory status". This week when I asked he said it has an estimated delivery date at the end of January.

So I don't want to make another "called my dealer and he told me" post. I would assume though that their reports should be more accurate than the tracking website right? Like most here I sometime spiral a bit and just need some reassurance.

Update:

My truck is now listed at "In Production"
I still do not have a window sticker. I thought that comes a little before the build start. I can use the VIN lookup on this site and it gives me a VIN that says my truck has a blend date on the 15th.

I can go through Ford's website to get my build update but it says no window sticker

This link does not work to get my build info

Following the window sticker lookup link from this page gives me a window sticker.

How do all these places not sync or link together? So confusing.

From my experience, I would say you won't know for sure till it gets to your dealer. Mine was over a month late. Tracker kept bumping and the dealer shrugged.

The dealer gets very good info on the build process once it's scheduled and starts. Now of They give you that info is another thing.

Based on everything I've read and what people have told me, the dealer and the tracker as "supposed to be" the most accurate source of delivery information. When my order kept getting delayed, the tracker would have the most up to date information (when it worked) and the dealer would confirm it a day or two later.

That is what I figured. My dealer had no problem telling me it was going to be a long wait. No problem telling me when I wasn't scheduled. Then they sent me a text that I was scheduled with a date before I got the Ford email. So I don't have a reason to doubt them now. I am just surprised that they said I was in production last week, but Ford's tracker still isn't updating.

The dealer has very detailed info . They just don't share it.

The tracker is frequently non-functional, and dealers are frequently clueless or full of BS.

That said, dealers have access to more information than is available on the tracker. So if your dealer is good, I think that would be a better source of accurate information.

MY order got a build date of DEC 06/21 then they change it to DEC 13/21. Now when I go to the tracker it has got backward. Says now that order is just confirmed. Called dealer so waiting to
see what they say. You can't believe anything they say. Here is what FORD told me that everything is
tentative and variable and subject to change. You cannot believe any of the dates they give you.
You just have to wait till your vehicle is on the lot. You will really be frustrated like me if you beleive
what they say because everything is subject to change. I just ordered a plain old xl maverick hybrid. I guess the want big ticket only orders. Don't know
