Morning everyone.
When Ford released the Maverick for '22, I thought, "hey, that's a pretty cool idea". When they revealed the Lobo last year, I thought, "that's my next vehicle". Well, after almost a year of excruciating waiting, that day finally came last Thursday, and I drove home with my '26 Lobo Sport.
Little bit about me: I'm a dyed-in-the-wool Ford guy. The only almost-not-Ford I've ever owned was a '06 Mazdaspeed 6, which was still technically a Ford product. I learned to drive on a 1996 F-150 and I've owned the same 1986 Mustang GT for 24 years.
Anyway, I do plan to lightly mod the Lobo, but probably not until next year. I'm an engineer and 3D printing enthusiast, so I'll probably dabble into designing stuff for the FITS system in the near term. I am absolutely loving this truck. It is, IMO, the perfect daily driver for someone like me.
Looking forward to seeing ya'll around.
