For what I understand, this was a Maverick ST version prototype that never reached the streets. Could be all false news. I do not know. But maybe those pipe tails are available for sale somewhere.

A custom shop could get that setup done. I can think of one member who cut a hole in the side of their truck and had a body-exit exhaust, but that's about it.

Yes. It's removable! I saw one Maverick with two big rounded pipe tails through that part of the bumper, one on each side, and it looked amazing! Then I came across this picture, which truly blew my mind.

It would be virtually impossible for a muffler shop to route the actual exhaust to those locations without eliminating the spare tire and melting the bumper (and sensor wiring) while driving.

From what I have seen on my Tremor it can be done. You can go around the spare tire. It would be almost a 180º curve derivation for the right side, but doable. On the bumper, you should make a metal frame with insulation against the bumper so it does not burn. A handcrafted work. Certainly, as you mention, you can have only one outlet on the left and have a fake one on the right.

Applied some heat & pressed out most of the “dent”. Still need to do some paint touchup. The plastic has strands of fiber in it - carbon fiber ish? Anyway, my exhaust tips were not damaged
