All very true but they will come thru as they have on every goal Elon Musk has set. Wether it is automotive, solar or rocket ships. They are certainly a trail blazer. He may build the hyper link someday. Imagine Washington DC to NYC in 30 minutes. So far TSLA added a bunch of cash to my retirement fund.

No they haven't. They charged $10,000 for full self driving option which was only a year away. That was in 2016.

I don't understand what this proves? Production of the Cybertruck was supposed to have started already. It's been pushed back a full year and considering the plant isn't even built yet, the earliest the Cybertruck will hit the streets is 2023.

I have in order two identical july xlt hybrid lux confirmed with 1 day of difference one from a local dealer ( small size) and the other from Chapman.
neither got scheduled so I would not speculate on large vs small dealers too much.
@Dealerinsider in Kansas has done extraordinary work promoting the maverick nationwide and I think Ford corporate gave that dealer a unique treatment recently. If I was a dealer I would have called my regional Ford contact to be sure my work was well communicated up to teh ford decision-making chain.
I recall Tim mentioning a normal allocation initially. I bet that the dealership got a major boost because of Tim’s work.
And you know what...he deserves it.

True as the rest of the car makers try to catch up. Don’t misunderstand me i would never buy one. I like my local dealer maintaining my cars. I go back to the dealer for everything.

How about Tesla's solar roof? Customers had a signed contract for one price and then Tesla emailed them and told them the price was going to be 2-3x more.

Yes, however now we have the three wheel, 1 passenger Solo being delivered to the first customers this week.

Come on now they are the world leader in electric vehicles and according to the CEO of Ford he would be happy to beat VW to the number 2 spot. Where i live there are many Model 3 on the road. We have many Tesla only charge stations. Banks of them in our shopping centers,
