New car smell irritating anyone else?

Is the Ford new car smell/chemicals irritating or messing with anyone else? After riding in my Maverick for 15 or more mins, it almost feels like you can taste the chemical offgassing within the Mav. Unless there is a problem in mine?

*Note: I do have bad allergies.

Actually yes it's making me feel almost like I'm getting car sick I hope it passes or I'm SOL

purchased my 2024 lariat may 31st and the interior still smells like gasoline. During the test drive I told the salesman' I smell gasoline' of course he did not answer. Frank

I’ve always loved the smell of a new car. I always wished I could find it in a freshener kind of thing.

Cranking the vents to max fresh air helped me a lot, and I left the windows cracked in the garage for a few days to let things air out. I’ve also used from time to time the info I found while looking up where to buy wild berry incense online to give my car a gentler scent once the initial fumes faded, though I kept it super light so it didn’t add to the irritation.

I cracked the windows for the first week and it helped a lot. Letting it air out in the garage with doors open also cut the sharp smell pretty quickly.

My 2022, STILL has that "Smell" after three + years...
