That's what I'm hoping.. it has a 4 year warranty. The small plate is on the side.. you have to remove it to remove the battery.

Please educate my ignorance. This looks like the battery under the seat which I assumed was the high voltage battery and Li-Ion, but this is a lead acid battery.

Yes, the one under the back seat of the hybrid is the 12v. The high voltage one is encased under the truck.

Does the H5 replacement have the vent tube connection for battery gases to be properly vented out of the cabin?

Yes, the vent tube is on there. I was sure to connect it.
