Perfect fit waterproof storage box for Maverick bed

ah i cheaped out with black-and-yellow totes from costco. two of the smaller size fit nicely and let me organize. i took some else's idea and got some magnetic feet from amazon, drilled holes and put two in each tote. i can put them where i want and they don't move an inch.

Two options from Home Depot and Husky.

The 57 gallon tote fits between the inner fenders, with an inch or so to spare:

I use the Husky Waterproof Tubs from Home Depot , they come in several sizes that you can configure as needed. It's also easier to remove the smaller boxes if you need more room in the bed. They stack together and fit under my tonneau pretty well.

Please help me with my confusion: not saying yours doesn't fit, but the dimensions of the box linked on amazon show a width of 44.09"..I measured my truck & it's only 42.5".

I would like to know as well, but I suspect the discrepancy comes down to the box being measured at the seam, which sits above the wheel wells at least as far as I can tell from the pictures.

That is correct. The wheels had to be removed to make it fit. The seam is the widest part that sits above the fenders.

I have a car cover that I would like to insure stays dry when not in use. I don’t want to find out it got wet and grew mold just when I needed to use it. Also, yes the tonneau cover leaks a little. I haven’t seen one that doesn’t yet.

Got a waterproof storage box for the bed. It’s a Vevor waterproof case. I had to remove the wheels from the case to make it fit but now it slides right in pretty snugly. It has pluckable foam inside to form fit items inside (camera equipment, fragile electronics, etc). I’m planning on removing the foam inserts and use it to store my car cover and tools.
