I have a 2025 Lariat 2.0 eco boost on order With 4k towing package. I plan to use it as my daily driver with some light duty towing and hauling duties. I have a couple Harleys and a KTM 390. I can get the KTM in the bed and the Haley’s on a 5x10 trailer on the very rare occasion that I may want to transport them without actually riding them. The rest of my hauling duties will be general household projects and Home Depot runs. We regret selling our pop-up camper, so there may be one of those in our future as well.
I have owned a few full size (1/2 ton and 3/4 ton) and a couple mid size trucks over the years. I can’t justify an $80k behemoth grocery getter now that I don’t have a use case for a large truck. Even when I did have a perceived need for a bigger truck, It was only doing truck-duty less than 5% of the time. The Maverick will do everything I want in a smaller and more economical package with bonus points for the fun factor.
The Maverick is already built and in transit to the dealer at the time I placed my deposit with an ETA of October 15.

Welcome to the club! What your thought process has led to, as in a Maverick being the right tool for you, needs to be done in far more circumstances (imho)!

We went through the process, and got a 2025 hybrid Lariat with 4k and we definitely don't regret it.

I hope you love your Mav as much as we love ours and have many good years enjoying it.

Lots of good info here to search through and check out and if you have questions, lots of experience to draw upon.

Take care, and post a photo once you get it!

Andy

Hello and welcome to MTC. Keep us updated and definitely post some pictures of your new truck. I think you will be surprised on not only what it can do. If you are like myself and others on this site you will appreciate your decision to buy/own one. The biggest issue is it's hard not to put mileage on the Maverick because of its handling, ride, comfort and just FUN.

Welcome to the MTC! I just passed the 40,000 mile mark on my 2023 Mav yesterday and I’ve really enjoyed owning / driving it.

Thanks. I obviously know where Cancun is, I’ve been there several times. I find it allot more fun to explore the regions outside of the tourist zones. Can you enlighten me about the “Badlands”?

Please post pictures of your new Maverick. :camera:
I’ll post pictures when the truck arrives. It’s due to the dealer by October 15.

Hilton Head is the exact opposite of Cancun with a calm and laid back atmosphere. Cancun is allot more lively and flashy. Both places are fun to visit depending on your mood. I live on the other side of the state near Greenville.

Exactly! Cancun is fiesta and HHI is more like a relax weekend with friends and family, both places charge the same price for a hamburger in USD tho
