Looking for a specific “how to” video on the Bed Divider installation on maverick

I’ve found a lot of videos, but none are helpful on the installation of the bed divider. I can’t figure out how to install it for the life of me!! Haaaallllpppppp please!

Make sure your cleats are fully seated in one of the locked positions (and parallel!) and that the clips are twisted into the flattest position.

Lift the tabs up on both ends of the divider and then you will probably have to put A LOT more force than you think on it to get it to seat onto the cleats. Push the tabs back down once it's in place. The cable loops around the cleat and attaches to the divider so that if it comes loose with the bed open there is still a retention mechanism to prevent losing it.

So you have the moveable bed rail cleats right?

The divider sits on top of the cleats and does not attach to the rail directly if that's what you're getting hung up on. It takes A LOT of force to get it to seat on them when it's brand new, way more than you'd think.

At the end of the day, dealerships offer Ford parts installation for a fee... just take it to them and pay the dumb tax if you need to

You do realize that this is the MAVERICK TRUCK CLUB! Were neither rain, nor snow, nor icy roads and especially not the gloom of night (we do more verification of comments at night than in the daylight) prevents us from completing a mod on the Maverick. You aren't alone. When I picked up mine, I stood in my dealership's parking lot for over 30 minutes trying to figure it out. Finally, I gave up, flagged down one of their lot guys who managed to help me install it in under 30 seconds.
