Spoiler alert: yes, a tiny bit, but not enough to make me take em off! As they say, "all rubbing stops eventually..." (or is that bleeding?)

Again, this is 100% stock 2025 XLT FX4 with Falken Wildpeak A/T4W 245/70/R17 on the stock 17s

Wanted to post for any other souls out there thinking about changing out the tires and having trouble getting a real-world answer. I found multiple posts saying they dont rub "at all" (or even bigger tires) but I found that they doin the back, a tiny bit, at full-lock, and I mean seriously full lock. I also had to trim my Mabett flaps (also pictured).

Other thoughts:
  • Ride feels great, love the ~1" lift (we'll see about the CVs, but I have hopes the 2025 ones are better...)
  • They are definitely a bit noisier on the highway, nothing crazy
  • No appreciable affect on mpg for me
  • Haven't adjust the mpg/odo via FORscan yet, its on my list, but the difference seems really quite small
  • Yes, I'll get black lug nuts on there too
  • First off-roading trip this weekend!

Having a lot of fun with add-ons and mods—thanks for all the inspiration MTC!

Hey Tire BRO I've got the same exact set up but on the at3w. As you see they do wear in the back where the pinch hole is and make a hole in the fender liner and wear some of the paint off on the pinch weld. Me no care because socal and no winter or salt or rain.

I'm gonna try 255/65/17 on my next set and see how that fits.

Great looking setup!

In regard to adjusting the tire size in Forscan, unless they changed something for 2025, the max you can set is 2270 mm. It should be 2230 (maybe 2240?) mm in the original coding. When I was reading about this on the forum when I did my tires, I honestly thought it was a bunch of forum hubbub. But indeed, I can confirm it is true.

Unfortunately your EB CV axles are unchanged for 2025 compared to all non-Tremors that have come before yours.

The good news is when your CV axles go the upgraded Tremor CVs are a direct replacement.

Ah, this is good to know, I was mistaken. Thank you!

I like the lug nuts like they are. They add a nice contrast. For the rubbing, yes it will stop. I had a friend with a '67 Mustang that put chrome wheels and large tires on. They rubbed for a while on bumps and turns, until they shaved almost 1/2" off the outer edge of the tires tires!

Ha! Yea maybe I will come to regret all this someday but my uneducated visual inspection led me to believe it’s not going to fully wear through the liner and I assume (hope) the liner isn’t strong enough to damage the tire like that! 🤞
