Why would anyone replace the factory ones?

Is this a advantage over the OEM liners?

How do you deal with those gaps if not using fender flares?

The PE Plastic should clean a lot easier, and not be as prone to grabbing dirt/mud, however would they be more prone to transmitting noise? - The OEM 'felt' liners do have the benefit of providing some sound deadening, but at the cost of grabbing dirt, and being more difficult to clean. (Durability wise, the PE Plastic likely has some advantage long term). I wouldn't be surprised if one of the reasons Ford used the felt like liner was to reduce noise, as well as cost.

Any chance these would install over/with the factory felt liner? - That may have the best of both worlds,, although it may be possible to adhere some sound deadener to the inside of the PE Plastic.

The main purpose of designing this product comes from the suggestions mentioned by some Mav owners in this post. The pelt liner may encounter difficulties during the cleaning process, so the idea of using plastic liner instead of pelt liner was born. We provided feedback to our R&D department and made some modifications.

We have also conducted tests in response to the situation you mentioned. On the basis of our OEM felt liner , we also cover it with plastic liner, and we have the foundation of mud guard and fender flares. The push pin we are equipped with may not be well fixed between the three, which we do not recommend and may pose a risk of falling off.

Here we can select 4 Mav owners to jointly complete the test, which can be different models of Maverick. If you are interested in completing the participation and wish to modify the plastic liner, you can register in the comment section! The event will last for Sat&Sun, and the reviewers will announce it next Monday.

Last time I cleaned wheel well liners was in 2010, on a Super Duty show truck I had. Very simple and fast, and took the first place trophy.

I will likely never once clean my Maverick Wheel liners, as their only purpose is to contain the dirt, salt and water from getting to the engine compartment and body crevices. It's just a commuter vehicle, not a show piece. I seriously doubt aftermarket parts will do better that factory in that regard.

I saw more gaps in the video than appears factory. Not trying to knock your product, but can't see a legitimate reason why anyone would "upgrade" to this.
