I was going to purchase. This is my last mail delivery vehicle. I wanted to see how it performed running box to box mail delivery. However, I decided I wasn’t going to ruin another vehicle and just retired. However, price point also. I purchased a 23 XLT hybrid.

I think the Maverick would have been a good choice had you decided to stay on the job Since that type of driving seems to be a hybrids strong suit. Having said that, congratulations on your retirement. I’m jealous 😅

Garageable.
Want beach vehicle, got Tremor.
Wanted to stay with Ford since my last 2 cars were great Fords, Mystique V6 manual trans went 368,000 miles. Engine never touched. Junked only because wiring disintegrated to the fuel injectors. I was 2nd owner since 39,000 miles. Focus ST has 318,000 miles now and still going strong, engine never touched, still original clutch. I am original owner since 4 miles.

I just love the pure versatility of this little truck, might not be the best at anything but it can do most with a passing grade. Wish it was rated at 5k towing for piece of mind, I won't be towing over 4k often, but I do plan on it at least twice.

At 73 years of age, I had never owned a pick up truck. I stumbled upon the Maverick truck when researching small pick ups. The Maverick checked all the boxes I was looking for. First and foremost was the fuel economy of the Hybrid. Second was the pricing as it was just fantastically low compared to other pick ups as well as other Hybrid vehicles. And third was it's size - small, but perfectly functional for my needs. So those three things (fuel economy, price, size) is what sold me on purchasing the Maverick. As a side note, over the past 55 years I have owned many vehicles. All but 2 of them were used cars. The 2 that I bought brand new??? Both were Mavericks, 50 years apart - the 1973 Maverick car and my 2023 Hybrid Maverick truck.

I was driving a 2021 Corolla. One doesn’t get into a Corolla, one falls in.you don’t just exit a Corolla, you peel yourself out. At 73 I was getting tired of this arrangement. I was looking for a better solution when I saw the Maverick. I bought a 2023 XLT Ecoboost AWD and I'm happy with that decision.

My mother is 93 and owns a 2001 Grand Marquis. When going on short trips such as church, she always preferred that I drive HER car instead of mine if possible. Since I got the Maverick, she hasn't mentioned riding in her car. I suspect it's because it's almost the perfect height. She doesn't have to pull up as she does in my sister's mid size Cadillac Suv. And she doesn't have to plop down as she does in her car . As for my brother's f150, she sometimes has to have assistance getting into it. She HATES having to have help. So he has to provide a step and then we usually have to wait until she finds a way to struggle and get in by herself if possible. Anyway, my Maverick seems to be the easiest for her to get in and out of

I had been looking for a mid-sized Pickup truck for quite awhile. I wanted a crew cab, decent mpg & 4 wheel drive.
I looked mostly at Ford Rangers & Chevy Colorados but prices were high even for used trucks with quite a bit of mileage.
I also always wanted a front or AWD truck but nobody made them.
Then the 2022 Ford Maverick came out. I put my name on the waiting list, waited to actually see & drive one. After doing so I made up my mind and ordered a 2022 Ecoboost XLT AWD with towing package. The price was very good so I got a lot of extras and am completely happy with it.

I’d like to tell you it gets better but I would be lying😏. Hang in there! My goal is that the Maverick will be the last vehicle I need to buy. It’s still early going on 21,000+ miles, so far so good. Since I use/drive it easy and keep it maintained, I think it will outlast me! That’s the goal.

I did my research. Then, I ordered my first Maverick, a 2021/22 Lariat, sight unseen because of it's safety features, comfort features in the interior, end-to-end size, and price. It was golden; it was all that I expected. I ordered my 2025 Lariat based on all the above criteria plus the enhanced infotainment system with a big screen. It too is perfect for my needs. It's a truck, albeit smaller. But I don't need a bigger bed anymore. The interior is comfortable and functional. I love this truck.
