My order verification email from Ford came minutes after leaving the dealership. That email showed that it was step one of a 4 step process. The dealer was entering my order in real time as I was there.

This is what I received within minutes of leaving the dealership. My dealer did enter the order while I was there

My dealer put the salesman's email address on the order rather than my email as the buyer. I got very nervous when posters showed their confirmations but eventually ironed things out. The salesman was not prudent enough to advise me of Ford's confirmation of my order even though I complained repeatedly to both him and the sale's manager. It is straightened out now. Inept but not corrupt.
