BAP My Way! Powder Coat the wheels!

I liked certain features of the BAP but didn't care for the hood stripes, painted roof, and half-fast block interior - still had the other standard accent colors! So, I'm doing it "My Way" for a lot less than the almost $1800 BAP charge. Just Powder Coated the wheels and I think they came out great! He said he used a high gloss black that shines better than the Ford Black...Who knows? Anyway here are some before and after pics. He even PC'd the lug nuts, hope it lasts!

If you wanted the BAP seat colors you can get the Mabett black vinyl covers for like $225 right now.

When you guys get your wheels powdercoated, have the coater clear them in your desired sheen. Clear powder adds a layer of protection over the color, adds durability, and makes cleaning a whole lot easier.

I wondered about powder coating the wheels because of the heat. But I guess a lot of folks do it. A nice clear coat sounds good tho.

$500, which I think is very reasonable considering breaking down the tires, acid wash, PC, bake, remount and rebalance! He did say normally $600.

The 19" tires have more "Electrical vehicle" designed tires available for them that 17".

Where did you get those side window visors that actually go into the channel?

I wanted to go the opposite way.. I wanted my 18" BapWheels machined and painted so that they looked like the 18" First Edition wheels (which they bascially are except the lack the fine machine finish and are flat black powder coated). Ultimately I sold the wheels and purchased close to what I wanted (Bronco Sport had a Special edition 18" machined wheel that was almost as nice as the 18" Maverick First Edition machined wheels).

I have white wheels on a motorcycle. All I do is wash, then, use a spray detailer to keep them spotless. They’re white base coat, silver pearl coat, then, clear coat.

In the actual Factory BAP you also get black side mirrors, blackened "FORD Ovals", the BAP Taillights and Grill.

I think rough country? maybe ebay? Yes they work fine. I think the make is AVS.
