I’m a ford tech, but I’m sure you can see the same wiring diagrams. Essentially, that middle circuit I de-pinned that is present on xl/xlt is absent on lariats. They only utilize pins 1 and 3.Thank you for the reply! Yeah I figured I could do that too. I was checking wiring diagrams through Identifix (I'm a mechanic) and I see no wiring differences between an XLT and a Lariat. (As far as headlights/turn signals. So I assumed it was done through software. I also looked and the XLT and Lariat use the same lamp sockets with 3 pins and see no changes there.
Anyone on here have a Factory Lariat and can share their AS built? Or a screenshot of the BCM settings in forscan for the parking/DRL settings? Mainly curious how Ford did it factory.
Worst case I can do what 24atlasmaverick did
