Howdy y’all,
I’ve picked up a 2025 Space White XLT Hybrid earlier this week. The dealer only had Eco-boost models available (they’ve got some pep), but they weren’t what I wanted. My salesman was able to locate and move one I was interested in. It doesn’t have any of the luxury packages but that doesn’t bother me. Would have liked to have Adaptive Cruise, but I’ll live, not all of those systems work as expected ive.
In the past I’ve briefly owned a TRD-Pro Tacoma and a handful of Subarus in various fun to less fun models. I wanted something that got more gas mileage and had more daily function than the Crosstrek I was in.
When traffic lets me keep my foot out of it, I get good mileage. 35-40 on my commute of 25 miles with highway driving depending on circumstances. But if I need to step on it, it can go (which is nice), but I like the mini-game of extending my gas tank currently in this honeymoon phase.
