Vehicle not locking? Vehicle Unlocking on its own?.

I have a 24 Lariat, got it in January. Today is the second time I came out of work to find the doors unlocked. There was no electro mechanical sound at all when I opened the door. 100% sure I locked it as I always double click to hear the horn beep. I have this same issue with our 14 Focus, dealer said they couldn’t duplicate the issue on it. Any ideas suggestion?

Considering a car unlocking itself through some sort of glitch is pretty rare, let alone two vehicles you own, I'm chalking this up to some sort of user error.

Yup, this happens to me sometimes, buttons get bumped in my pocket.

if you depress the lock or unlock button on the app it momentarily shows the status or the change of status

Yup, this happens to me sometimes, buttons get bumped in my pocket.

The buttons on my fob get bumped in my pocket and the alarm goes off. Scares the s**t out of me. lol

Read an article the other day about "bad guys" with readers being able to clone the signal of your fob. They pick up the signal when you lock ghe door and open when you're gone.

Worst art is that they steal your stuff without damaging the vehicle. The article related the person whose vehicle was broken into had issues with their insurance company as there was no damage ad therefore no proof that a break-in had occurred.
