2024 EB XL 1,500 miles. Yesterday I was stopped at a stop sign. It’s my turn to go. I step on the gas and the truck lurches slighty, stops, and I get a collision alert warning on the screen. I look around and no cars in sight except behind me. I look at the dial shifter and somehow it shifted in to Reverse which is why I got the warning as it thought I was going to back into the car behind me. I shifted in to Drive and wondered how I could have shifted into Reverse.
Today I’m at a stopped at a stop sign. No other cars around. I press the gas and start normally and suddenly the car is lagging and I get a message on the screen saying the vehicle will be in Low. I can’t remember the rest of the message as I looked at the dial shifter and it’s in Park, yet I’m moving at around 5 mph. I stop the car, put it in Drive and off I go. I’m contacting the dealer tomorrow but wondering if anyone else has experienced this.
The day before this started I went through the steps to turn off the seatbelt chime and I adjusted the on board mileage computation from 1000 to 950. I don’t know how this might be connected and it’s probably just coincidence.
