Still rolling on the coil overs or did you swap back in the springs?
I'm still fully enjoying the coilovers. I'll consider going to Eibachs when the tires wear out, and going to a little taller profile. The truck is still completely practical as it sits, but it's just too low to drive dirt roads while hunting.

Very Good

It looks Awesome

I cannot decide on just springs or going the coil-over (Silver's) route.. ride is the priority over aesthetics

When I had my second Maverick (Cactus Gray '23 hybrid) I installed Eibachs. They rode excellent, like factory, but the truck just didn't sit low enough for me. I lean more toward aesthetic than ride quality. Silvers coilovers are firm, but not harsh. They ride like a performance car. Suspension travel is not like stock, so you won't get compression or rebound like stock or Eibachs.

The only criticism I have about Eibachs is that they weren't low enough for my tastes.

One thing of note, I do hear people complaining about Eibachs riding rough. Two factors to consider: first, many people don't follow the instructions and skip the bump stop steps, and second, they go from a tall 17" tire sidewall to a short 20" or 22" tire sidewall. The tires are the biggest factor here. Six inches of sidewall vs 2" of sidewall make a dramatic difference in ride quality that most don't consider, they just blame the springs.

@daddio211 I think your stance is perfect!

I'll be going the Silver's coilover route and putting 20" Mach-e GT wheels on soon. Unless I missed it, did you install longer swaybar end links? Any other words of wisdom on the coilovers?

TIA!

True, you can keep your original wheels and just go from a 65 to a 45 or 50 side wall and get better handling if that’s what you want…..
But you will have a bit of gap in the wheel well.

Not sure how I missed your message until now, my apologies. Longer swaybar end links came with the Silver's package.

After you have a few hundred miles double check your spanner nuts to be sure they're still tight.

Read back in my postings about relocating the wiring harness behind the driver's side headlight, and moving the .... can't remember what it's called but like a BCM above the driver's side front tire.

Plan on regularly wiping out your rear door jambs if you cut your fender liners. I wash my truck two or three times a week and have always wiped out my door jambs anyway, but you get a lot of water and grime from the rear tire to the jamb of the rear doors.

Oh, GET AN ALIGNMENT!!!

Just picked up a 2025 Velocity Blue hybrid. Love the stance of yours. Might have to go this route also. Had a lowered 92 Nissan King Cab back in the early 90’s. I miss that truck. The picture is from 1993. Did the Toyota bumper and a big stereo in it. All the 90’s stuff.
