According to their website, they're still looking for a volunteer for fitting.

We were the model for the 2025 Hybrid base plate. Picked up our truck today. Demco says the new 2025 baseplate should be on the website with part number in about a week with production ramping up in about three weeks. Really impressed with Demco and the guys who worked with us.

Great news! I just picked up my Lariat yesterday and can't wait to see the details of installation.

Nice clean looking install. I have a couple of questions 1) does your 25 lariat have the 4K Tow Pkg ? 2) How much of the Active Grille Shutters did they cut out / remove ? 3) Any issues with the wiring of the Lariats Rear LED tail light ? I have been waiting for Demco to release their Base plate for the 25 lariat. I saw the Instructions for the Roadmaster and I don't like how much of the Shutters are removed and also requires so metal cutting to get their Base Plate to attached to the Mavericks Frame.

Picture of the Cylinder attached to the Brake Pedal, Any issues with foot/shoes and cylinder conflict with brake pedal pad ? Maybe angle of picture looks like larger show size might be a issue.

Looks great, and I'm glad Demco has a 2025 solution. I am all Demco on my 2024 Lariat. I'm fascinated that they installed your brake cylinder like that, however. I installed my cylinder exactly like that and on my third time out the cable broke. After sending the factory my installation photos, they said this installation made the cable too short, and the mounting bracket had to be flipped to keep the cable long enough. Seems like that advice may have been bogus if the factory is installing cylinders exactly the same way...

I have a '24 Lariat & have done a ton of research & decided a Demco base plate would be best for me; just haven't anyone in the local area to install it as well as finding people with personal experience in install & towing experience. So, all of the questions that have been posted before I'm also interested in. Look forward to the follow up.

We are heading to Colorado from the Demco plant in Boyden IA. Will answer questions when we are at a campground and I have a minute. Sorry for delay.

DDK, Is the new baseplate "tabless" like the previous models? If so, how were your brake lines connected to the front of the Maverick?

This is our first tow base plate. Anothet reader pointed out that it is not “tabless.”I’ll take a picture for you tomorrow.

Yes, they appear to be tabless--the round receptacles int he baseplate accept adapters (the silver items in the picture) for all makes of towbars (not limited to Demco brand towbars).

The Stay-in-Play brake system is activated by the brake light signal (both rear brake lights on simultaneously) in the umbilical from the coach, but has it's own inertia control box in the toad and adjustable response.
