Joined the tire club unfortunately today after about 31 days of ownership of my ‘25 XLT. Could hear the air coming out but my pressure on the driver side front tire and the dash screen did not give me any indication of the issue.

Any recommendations are appreciated as I only have the bumper to bumper coverage.

looked like my tire costs about $200 at Walmart fwiw

was told by my local dealer to bring it to quick lane tire & auto. Curious if my ford points will help me out in this scenario or if anyone has dealt with quick lane

Most tire shops will plug it for free.

Also, 42 psi is way, way too high of a tire pressure. I believe it should be around 35. Check the door jamb sticker.

They may be able to plug that.
Why is your tire PSI so high at 42 PSI? Isn't recommended PSI 35?

But you've owned it 31 days... that should have been remedied no more than 30 days ago. Especially since it's such an easy fix.

Most likely an oversight by the dealer. Trucks are shipped with the pressures up around 44 PSI. The dealer missed it in his dealer prep.

Yeah, the dealer failed in this case. You'll get a nicer ride soon...you're getting upgraded to a Rolls Royce for free. 😂

The dealer will bend you over for that tire repair. Discount Tire will do it for free. Discount Tire also offers lifetime tire rotation and balance for ~$80 on new vehicle tires. The Continentals are not great tires but will last longer with regular tire rotations. If you have a Sam’s Club membership they will do it for free too.

I’ve seen dealerships charge little old ladies $80 for a tire patch. All said and done, I prefer free. Discount Tire isn’t the cheapest for tires, but they are usually well staffed and get me on my way in less than an hour, if I make an appointment.

I am not a little old lady.
My Mom went in for tires once, I will not name the company.
she called me all upset. She got tires alright and was charged $800 for a not needed brake job.
When the police got there I got up off the managers chest and stopped beating on his face.
With the threat of me going public they decided not to press charges.
My Mom got all her money back and kept the tires at no charge.
About a year later the company and all its locations vanished. It’s not what you know it’s who, sometimes.

Nobody F’s with Mom’s or Little Old Ladies.

Plug/ patch combo if front tire rotate to rear. Don’t let them plug only eventually will separate ply body.
