Hello everyone! I just picked up my '24 XL EB AWD last week, and i've been perusing FB Marketplace for some relatively cheap wheels to put the All Seasons on so that I can slap some winters on the steelies come the time later this year. The wheels i've found are 2013-2016 Fusion wheels, which based on what I can see online do match the bolt pattern needed for the maverick, however they're both wider and have a much deeper offset, 7.5" wide and an offset of 55mm, vs. 7" and 37.5mm respectively on the OEM wheels. I've tried my best to do some reading and see whether these might work, and while I am doing some additional measurement and whatnot I was hoping someone with some more car know-how and knowledge on the mav could tell me more definitively if it'd be worth it to pick these up as a "good enough for now" option (might plasti-dip or get them powder coated, depending on pricing around my area).

See below for the marketplace listing, and a bonus of my Mav on day 1 of picking it up :)

Thanks in advance!

They will "fit" the truck, but I don't think it's something you would ultimately be happy with enough to have wheels refinished and run permanently. The inside will sit in further, which is probably fine - there is room, but the outside of the wheel will also sit in about 1/2" compared to the original wheels. That's the part that might not look right.

good to know, I hadn't see a visual quite like that on a couple of wheel size calculators i'd looked at. would you mind dropping the link to that one so I can use it for reference as I'm hunting around?

Thanks for the advice! Much appreciated 😁

Use CAUTION adding car rims on your truck, the bolts on the truck are bigger than those on a car/SUV. Tried to use my aftermarket 17" snow rims from my 2020 Escape for new snows for my Mav, though they fit, with the larger nuts there was not enough room to get a wrench on the nuts to tighten.... Had to buy new rims. Had I known, would have bought 18" tires and rims, not 17's.

Go to tiresize.com to calculate compatible sizes. I am using OEM Ford Edge alloys which move the tires in, so I had to buy wheel spacers to put them back outwards. I am running 255 60 19 on the rear of a hybrid

Takeoffs from Fusion and Focus won't have the right tire size. New tires are easily $600-$900. It would probably be cheaper to spend a little more up-front for a set from a Maverick or Bronco Sport.

This is kind of a moot point. OEM bulge-seat lug nuts rarely fit aftermarket wheels. If you buy aftermarket wheels, you typically need to spend ~$50 on narrow-seat splined lugs made to fit aftermarket wheels.

I'd keep an eye out for Bronco Sport or Maverick take-offs. Not much more $ and no worries about fit/size/etc. Be patient - people will be dumping their OEMs for cheap, just gotta pounce!

try searchtempest.com - lets you search CL and FB

example - deal for someone near Eugene, OR: https://eugene.craigslist.org/wto/d/springfield-2024-bronco-sport-take-off/7835061275.html (great deal! TPMS + Continental ATR tires)

or Cheyenne, WY: https://wyoming.craigslist.org/wto/d/cheyenne-bronco-sport-17-wheels/7834786214.html (these are the lightest OEM 17s, I believe)

Thanks everyone for the guidance!! I have since found a set of Voxx Monte 17’s taken off of a 2020 ford escape, and they even have lightly used snows on them, all for under $600 total. Might have to pay for shipping, but otherwise I’m certain these will work based on all the info I got from the seller alongside some posts on reddit for these specific model of wheels. Hopefully all goes well, and they should fit much better than these beaters I was looking at haha
