My Maverick took more like 4 weeks to get from Mexico to Florida
Oh man that must of been disappointing. Was it 4 weeks after what the tracker had listed?

Projected delivery was originally longer. It moved around a few times, but it wound up being right around 4 weeks total. That was nothing compared to the 7 months from order to production--this was just last year, not when production was continually lagging.

Delivery was planned for this week but I just got a call from the dealer that it will need another 7 - 10 days, it arrived in Jacksonville today 😢 booooo
I think that since we pay a huge destination fee some sort of guarantee of delivery date should be given. I can't blame Ford as they don't own the transporters but maybe they should have their own transports to make that last mile run. My Maverick has a est date of delivery of 3/5/25 to 3/11/25
still no news. Last the dealer told me it was in Jersey- hoping it gets here this afternoon or tomorrow meeting the est time. but I wont hold my breath.

it's the dealerships who are choosing to wait until transport trucks have enough vehicles to justify the trip expense, and you have no say in that.

just wait (im)patiently. :D

Oh that's good to know I thought the transports just deliver what they received off the rail. But that makes sense that the dealer is waiting to get a full truck load before letting them deliver. Very interesting indeed.

right. not necessarily 100% full, but they are very unlikely to send a car carrier with only 1-2 vehicles on it.
