My Maverick took more like 4 weeks to get from Mexico to Florida2 WEEKS THEY HAVE TO COME FROM MEXICO THAT IS WHERE THE PLANT IS
Oh man that must of been disappointing. Was it 4 weeks after what the tracker had listed? My Maverick took more like 4 weeks to get from Mexico to Florida
did it fall in line with what the tracker showed or was it later then the tracker date?2 WEEKS THEY HAVE TO COME FROM MEXICO THAT IS WHERE THE PLANT IS
Projected delivery was originally longer. It moved around a few times, but it wound up being right around 4 weeks total. That was nothing compared to the 7 months from order to production--this was just last year, not when production was continually lagging.Oh man that must of been disappointing. I think that since we pay a huge destination fee some sort of guarantee of delivery date should be given. I can't blame Ford as they don't own the transporters but maybe they should have their own transports to make that last mile run. My Maverick has a est date of delivery of 3/5/25 to 3/11/25Delivery was planned for this week but I just got a call from the dealer that it will need another 7 - 10 days, it arrived in Jacksonville todaybooooo
it's the dealerships who are choosing to wait until transport trucks have enough vehicles to justify the trip expense, and you have no say in that.I can't blame Ford as they don't own the transporters but maybe they should have their own transports to make that last mile run.
Oh that's good to know I thought the transports just deliver what they received off the rail. But that makes sense that the dealer is waiting to get a full truck load before letting them deliver. Very interesting indeed.it's the dealerships who are choosing to wait until transport trucks have enough vehicles to justify the trip expense, and you have no say in that.
just wait (im)patiently.![]()
right. not necessarily 100% full, but they are very unlikely to send a car carrier with only 1-2 vehicles on it.Oh that's good to know I thought the transports just deliver what they received off the rail.
