Based on several comparisons, the Mobil 1 oil filter gets high marks. Going to the Mobil One website they recommend the M1-102A filter for earlier Mavericks but don't mention the 2025 model year. Is this because their listing is just old or is their an issue with using Mobil One filters on a 2025 model? Inquiring minds want to know. Anyone using them in their 2025?

I just use the oem factory spec shown in the manual and don’t worry about comparison studies

I use Mobil 1 extended life and do oil changes every 5K miles. My 08 envoy Denali has 177K on it still going strong pulling my RV.

Question;
Is the recommend 2025 Motorcraft oil filter the same part # as one for the 2022-2024 models?
GB
The 2.5 Hybrid motor is the FL910S Motorcraft Its the same as previous years. The 2.0 Ecoboost is an FL2127 Stated as producton date 11/11/24 and up. I would need a VIN to be more accurate.
By default it is the same
Mobil 1 oil filter M1-102A.

Unless you're driving almost all highway miles, 5k intervals on a Hybrid is way excessive. If mostly city driving, your ICE may have only run about half of those 5k miles. The OLM keeps track of that for you.

I was going to suggest that 5,000 miles was a bit excessive. It could be that is where his level of comfort, peace of mind is as far as oil changes.
Obviously he wants to use Mobile 1 oil filters. They could be more accessible, they could be cheaper that's his call.
